Travel and Tourist Information
Graz has an international airport with good connections only to nearby places such as Frankfurt, Vienna, Zurich, Munich and Düsseldorf. You should be able to fly to Graz with 1 stop. Conference Venue
SGP 2015 takes place in the `new' chemistry building of Graz University of Technology, Stremayrgasse 9, in the ground floor lecture hall called Hörsaal H which is actually in the courtyard of the Kopernikusgasse 24 building. The closest public transport is streetcar No. 6 (stop Neue Technik in Münzgrabenstraße), but also Dietrichsteinplatz with streetcars No. 3 and No.6 is within short walking distance. Note that the streetcar (tram) in Graz is free in the 1-ring neighbourhood of Hauptplatz and Jakominiplatz, which includes the above-mentioned Dietrichsteinplatz. [Google Maps]
The Graduate school takes place in Kopernikusgasse 24, 3rd floor, `Statistics' seminar room.
