| Abstract: We consider numeral systems in lattices. We focus on special digital expansions, namely the width-w non-adjacent forms, where in each block of w consecutive digits at most one is non-zero. In this talk we will see a result on the number of occurrences of a digit in some region in the lattice. That result is used for the analysis of the scalar multiplication algorithm on hyperelliptic curves, which are using Frobenius-and-add methods. [hide abstract] | |
